The Internet marked the beginning of the digital divide; AI is only accelerating the trend of low-income minority households being the ones left behind. Further, they are more likely to work jobs that are being replaced by AI - cashiers, clerks, admin support, food service, and many other hourly wage jobs are quickly becoming automated by AI. Here are the facts: Only 57% of high school students use AI regularly. The 43% who don't use or access AI regularly are LESS LIKELY to have a household income over $100k, less likely to have a computer at home, and even in 2025, they are also lacking stable internet access. Having access to the Internet and AI on a phone is not a sustainable way to learn and apply AI.
As the AI revolution charges ahead, too many people are being left behind. But at AI Human Ethics, we aim to help everyone we can not just to learn how to use AI ethically but also to become mentors who help others. That's how we all win.
